North Leominster Realty LLC Purchases Former Foster Grant Sunglass Building

Leominster, Massachusetts, July 13, 2005 - North Leominster Realty, a newly organized real estate partnership has purchased the former Foster Grant sunglass building, and more recently the headquarters for Fosta-Tek Optics, Inc located at 320 Hamilton Street in Leominster for $3.2 million. The building was originally constructed in 1966 and represents 209,000 square feet of office and manufacturing space. Fosta-Tek Optics is the primary tenant with over 70,000 square feet of leased space. Over 100,000 square feet of space will be available to new tenants once improvements are completed.

Jim LeBlanc, a co-owner in the building and Fosta-Tek, described the purchase as an opportunity to insure control of the facility housing Fosta-Tek’s daily operations and to provide adequate expansion space to satisfy Fosta-Tek’s future growth objectives.

John Morrison, President of Fosta-Tek and North Leominster Realty, promoted the purchase as an opportunity to further invest in the community that has been so successful in supporting Fosta-Tek during its 15 years of operations and growth. The plans for the building will be to invest close to $1 million in improvements and seek multiple smaller tenants in the area in need of additional storage, warehousing or light assembly operations.
